Paul Working At Home

Paul Winterton - Director

"Find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life".....Confucius (551–479BC)

It all started in 1989 with a 25mhz SGI and Vertigo 3-D software. The creative journey carried me into a life of computer animation and tutoring Vertigo in faraway places. I met many great artists and seeing their work inspired me to create in other broadcast graphic styles: 2-D motion graphics, compositing, and creating effects.

1991 was the start of my freelance career. I had the good fortune to create for organizations like A&W, BCTel, Future Shop, Department of Defence; and more recently: David Suzuki Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, BC Egg Producers, and Knowledge Network.

In 1998 I met my beautiful wife and used my first BetaCam. I realized that the ultimate satisfaction is creating a great story with all of the tools and a great crew. Whether I'm creating videographic elements, authoring DVDs, or producing and directing projects, I have the resources, and contributing artists, to bring a story to life.
